Dave Brine & John Sowerby 2 Aidy Kosasih and Nick Burton 5
Aidy Kosasih and Nick Burton clinched the doubles title at the Prince last week, 5-2 over stablemates Jon Sowerby and Dave Brine. The pair from Prince B never really got going and were left very few easy chances by Kosasih and Burton who never looked troubled. The win ensured that the chance for Kosasih to take all three merits titles was well and truly underway.

This promised on paper to be a true classic between two great players who both enjoy attacking pool. However as sometimes happens, what is promised doesn't deliver and this final ended up being a somewhat scrappy affair with neither player ever hitting top form. In the end all nine frames were needed to settle the outcome and Aidy Kosasih edged it to make it 2 titles out of a possible three thus far.
